Miss Mai began her career as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics at the age of 18 while still living in San Jose, California. As a trainer, she progressed from face to face, eventually traveling the world to work for celebrities like Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys. As a result, she is now a celebrity makeup artist for MTV’s Total Request Live, KCAL Los Angeles, and Good Day Sacramento. Mai began auditioning for local television networks in 2003, using self-written scripts to showcase her hosting abilities. Soon after, she was hired to co-host the Asian American magazine-style show Stir on the International Channel.
