Gary Apple is a well-known American television personality, celebrated for his role as the host of the Mets’ pregame and postgame shows on SportsNet New York (SNY).
Before making his mark at SNY, Apple established a solid national presence as a studio host for NBA TV. He also had a significant stint with MSG Network, where he anchored the studio program SportsDesk. Earlier in his career, he spent over seven years at WCBS-TV, where his outstanding work earned accolades from the New York State Broadcasters Association, which recognized his sportscast as the best in 2003.
While at CBS-2, Apple hosted Sports Rap Live and served as a sideline reporter for New York Jets preseason games. He also contributed to CBS Sports, covering college football, the College World Series, and hosting Sports Desk, along with making appearances on the CBS Early Show.

From 1986 to 1990, Gary Apple served as the weekday sports anchor at KMOV-TV, a CBS station in St. Louis.
