In addition to working a handful of home games as a reporter, conducting interviews with assistant coaches, and postgame hits outside the opponent locker room, he joins the Fox studio for away games on Fox Sports Sun as the pre-game, halftime, and post-game presenter. Manso is the Sports Director at WPLG (ABC) in Miami and a host for WPLG primetime specials in addition to his HEAT duties. Manso began his on-air career in 1996 as a sportscaster for UMTV, the University of Miami’s student-produced news channel. He helped create the half-hour sports show “Sportsdesk” and anchors and reports for Newsvision, the school’s newscast.
