Alex Witt ( born Alexandra E. Witt ) is an American television news journalist who presently hosts the weekend news show Weekends with Alex Witt. On MSNBC, she has previously hosted MSNBC Live and Morning Joe First Look. Witt became a member of the network in January 1999.
