In February 2022, he decided to step back from his anchoring duties at CNBC. Before that, he was the co-anchor of CNBC’s “Closing Bell” and focused on banking and finance during the network’s Business Day programming

Wilfred is the son of Lady Carina Fitzalan-Howard and Sir David Frost. Wilfred’s father worked as a comedian, columnist, interviewer and television host while her mother is a daughter of the Duke of Norfolk. Moreover, Frost was brought up alongside his two brothers, the older brother Miles Frost and the younger brother George Frost. Furthermore, his parents owned Michelmersh Court in the south of England where he got to meet Tony Blair, George H.W Bush, Margaret Thatcher, David Cameron, and John Major. However, in August 2013, Wilfred’s father suffered a heart attack while aboard a cruise ship, the MS Queen Elizabeth. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 74 years. In response, George and his brother Wilfred created the Miles Frost Fund, to increase testing and raise awareness for this hereditary heart condition.
