TiE named Lalvani Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013 and the Asian Business Awards named him Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012. He was ranked 48th on the GG2 Power List of Britain’s most powerful Asians in October 2017. In November 2020, Lalvani was named to The Grocer’s NPD Power List. He was acknowledged for his commitment to and creativity in the UK supermarket business during the outbreak.
