Sheba Turk Biography
Sheba Turk is an American journalist who currently serves as a morning anchor at CBS LA. She made the move to CBS LA in 2023, coming from 4WWL TV, where she was the Eyewitness Morning News anchor and reporter from 7 AM to 10 AM. During her time at WWL, she also hosted the local entertainment show, The 504, for five years. She kicked off her college journey at NYU but ultimately graduated with an English degree from the University of New Orleans.
She jumped into the news industry right after college, starting off behind the scenes as an associate producer before making her on-air debut as a traffic reporter. From there, she climbed the ranks to become a reporter for WWL’s morning show, eventually landing a spot at the anchor desk.

After a short time, Opportunity knocked again approximately a year later. On the morning show, there was a vacancy in the anchor position. Sheba was promoted to one of the morning show’s co-anchors.

Sheba recalls viewing them in the mornings before school while I was in college. Only a few years later, I’d never have guessed I’d be seated with them. They’ve all been really encouraging of my career, and I’ve learned a lot from them all.” She was also offered the chance to host “The 504.”
