Dawn Timmeney is an American journalist working as a general assignment reporter and also co-anchors FOX 29 News on Friday and Saturday evenings. She previously worked as an anchor at NBC-10 in Philadelphia, for 12 years. Dawn began her television career as a reporter and anchor at WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she worked for two years. She was a reporter for WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, an NBC affiliate. She co-anchored the 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts, receiving Emmy Awards for Best Newscast for the 5 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
