Shawnette Wilson is an American journalist who works for Fox 29 News as a General Assignment Reporter. In January 2007, she joined the news team. She went on to host the FOX 29 Morning News and then the former FOX 29 Mid-Day News. Monday through Friday, she may be seen reporting for the 10 and 11 p.m. news.

Shawnette relocated to Philadelphia from Charlotte, North Carolina’s CBS station WBTV/WJZY, where she led the 10 p.m. nightly news and reported for the station’s 11 p.m. broadcast. She previously worked at ABC station WJCL in Savannah, Georgia, as a reporter and then anchor of the 6, 10, and 11 p.m. news. Shawnette also worked for the local cable news network PV3 in Westmorland as an anchor/reporter.
