Unscrupulous tax preparers, illegal auto dealers, hazardous daycares and nursing homes, as well as inadequate living conditions in taxpayer-funded housing, have all been discovered by Zaneta’s investigation.
Zaneta has worked on several special reports/documentaries exploring critical issues across the Mid-South as a member of WREG’s special projects team. Zaneta began her career as an anchor/reporter at WTVM in Columbus, Georgia, where she helped create the station’s consumer section. She has also worked for WVTM in Birmingham, AL; WJRD (now WVUA) in Tuscaloosa, AL; and other Alabama media sites. The convictions of 16th Street Baptist Church bombers Bobby Frank Cherry and Thomas Blanton, as well as the fatal Alabama tornado outbreak of 2011, were all covered by Zaneta.
