During her time at Rutgers, she interned at the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia. Lauren is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) with the American Meteorological Society. She has led workshops for children and taught a meteorology course for Florida Gulf Coast University’s Renaissance Program. Her career in radio began in Macon, Georgia. She improved her skills in extreme weather forecasting, including hail and tornadoes. Casey joined CBS 3’s Eyewitness Weather team in September 2015. She had previously worked at WCCO-TV, a sister station in Minneapolis. She also worked as a morning meteorologist for WINK-TV in southwest Florida. Lauren adores spending time in the great outdoors.
