Kathy Orr is a prominent American meteorologist, currently part of the Fox 29 Weather Authority team at WTXF in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2013, she earned a spot in the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame, a testament to her impact in the field.

Orr kicked off her role as chief meteorologist at KYW-TV in January 2003, making her debut alongside Marc Howard, who had previously been an anchor at WPVI, the ABC station in Philadelphia. Before that, she was the weekend meteorologist at WCAU-TV. When John Bolaris left WCAU, she was offered the chief meteorologist position there but chose to decline it in favor of a better salary from KYW-TV. Eventually, Glenn Schwartz took on the role at WCAU.

In August of 2011, it was reported that Orr would only be handling the 10 p.m. weather on CW Philly 57 and the 11 p.m. weather on CBS3. Kate Bilo, a morning meteorologist, filled Orr’s vacancy between 5 and 6 p.m. When new management took over at CBS3, she and sports director Beasley Reece was sacked.
