Harris Faulkner is a well-known American conservative television news anchor and host who made her mark at the Fox News Channel back in 2005. She’s the face of The Faulkner Focus, a daily show that airs during the day, and she also co-hosts Outnumbered. Harris Faulkner kicked off her television journey as an intern at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, where she took on some minor tasks. She then made her way to Greenville, North Carolina, to step into the roles of reporter and anchor at WNCT-TV. From 1992 to 2000, she served as the evening anchor for WDAF-TV in Kansas City. During her time there, she faced harassment and stalking from an old acquaintance who had followed her from North Carolina. After that, Faulkner joined the evening anchor team at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis–Saint Paul, but she decided to resign in July 2004. The following year, in 2005, she became part of Fox News, working as a correspondent for A Current Affair from its relaunch until it ended in October 2005.
Faulkner has received numerous Emmy awards for her outstanding work as a news anchor. Currently, she hosts two daily midday shows: The Faulkner Focus (weekdays from 11 AM to 12 PM ET) and Outnumbered (weekdays from 12 PM to 1 PM ET). Since joining FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2005, she previously hosted Outnumbered Overtime with Harris Faulkner, which has consistently topped the ratings in its timeslot since it launched in 2017.
Throughout her time at the network, she has hosted various primetime programs covering current events. Notably, Faulkner anchored America Together with Harris Faulkner: The Shot, which aimed to debunk myths about the COVID-19 vaccines, America Copes Together, focusing on the pandemic’s psychological impact, and America Learns Together, which addressed the challenges of navigating digital education for students—all during the coronavirus pandemic. In March 2020, she co-moderated a two-hour virtual town hall with President Donald Trump and members of the White House coronavirus task force, discussing the latest developments regarding the virus alongside Bill Hemmer.
Faulkner presented Harris Faulkner: Police Emergency to Town Hall America in October 2019, which focused on recent incidents of terrorism and violence, as well as the police officer suicide epidemic. Faulkner resumed the subject in a one-hour program titled The Faulkner Focus: Police in America, which aired in April 2021.
