Dana Perino ( born Dana Marie Perino) is an American political commentator and author. She is well known as the Former White House Press Secretary served as the 26th White House Press Secretary, under President George W. Bush. Perino as per know works as a co-host of talk show “The Five” on Fox News Channel and also as part of the political and election coverage teams on the Fox News Channel,as well as weekly political podcast, “I’ll Tell You What,” with Chris Stirewalt.

Perino began his career at PBS affiliate KTSC-TV. She also worked at KCCY-FM during this time. Perino worked as a reporter for WCIA, a CBS affiliate, while at the University of Illinois Springfield. She then worked in Washington, D.C. as a staff assistant for Congressman Scott McInnis (R-CO) before becoming the press secretary for Rep. Dan Schaefer (R-CO).

Perino has worked for Fox News as a political commentator. She hosts the talk show ‘The Five’ there. She was appointed to the Broadcasting Board of Governors in 2010. In the same year, she began teaching part-time at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
