Buck Sexton is a well-known American radio and television talk show host, author, and a voice in conservative political commentary. He co-hosts The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, a popular nationally syndicated talk radio program alongside Clay Travis, and he also leads Hold the Line, a weeknight show on The First TV.

Sexton is a New York City-based American radio broadcaster, political pundit, and author who presently works as a national security expert for Fox News Channel and CNN. Sexton hosts The Buck Sexton Show, a three-hour daily talk radio show syndicated on over 100 stations in the United States by Premiere Networks. He previously hosted TheBlaze Radio’s original show and was a CNN contributor. His work has also appeared in renowned outlets such as TheBlaze, CNN, National Review, and The Washington Times. He began working at the Central Intelligence Agency Counterterrorism Center after graduating. Sexton spent a year there before being transferred to the Iraq office. She was transferred to the Afghanistan office in 2009. He later joined the New York Police Department Intelligence Division after four years with the CIA. He also became the national security editor of TheBlaze in the summer of 2011.

Buck has been a guest on three of the nation’s most popular conservative radio talk shows: Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. He was also a co-host of TheBlaze TV’s weekday news program Real News from its inception in 2012 till its conclusion in 2014. On TheBlaze Radio Network, he also aired a weekday radio show. On June 21, 2021, Buck Sexton teamed up with sports journalist Clay Travis to co-host the nationally syndicated conservative talk radio show, The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. This change came after Sexton wrapped up his previous evening program on Premiere Networks. The show was launched as a successor to The Rush Limbaugh Show, stepping into its time slot after Rush Limbaugh passed away earlier that year. It kicked off on Premiere Networks, reaching over 400 affiliate stations across the country, and by March 2025, it had grown to about 550 affiliates.

The show dives into major news stories and current events, mixing in political commentary, humor, and plenty of listener interaction. It has kept a solid audience, boasting over 4 million monthly podcast downloads as of March 2024, and has consistently ranked among the top U.S. podcasts by weekly downloads in early 2025.

In addition to radio, the show’s content is available on iHeartRadio and through the Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Podcast Network, which has broadened its offerings with new programs, including The Karol Markowicz Show that debuted in 2023.
