Alex Coleman is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist who co-anchors at Live At 9, news, interview, and entertainment show. At WREG-TV, he co-anchors the top-rated 4 and 4:30 newscasts (CBS). Alex just received Emmy nominations for the WREG specials “Memphis: On a Mission-Breaking the Cycle” and “Memphis: On a Mission-Team Read.” He’s been with WREG for more than two decades. For the college’s TV station, he filled in as news chief, stay, and columnist. In Alabama, he worked as a correspondent and wrestler on radio and television.

Alex enjoys music, particularly Memphis music, as well as movies. He also likes to read, run, travel, and watch the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Tiger Basketball and Football, and Alabama Crimson Tide Football. “I like many things about Memphis, including the people, the city’s expanding diversity, and the city’s strong musical legacy,” Alex says of his hometown.
