Before his time at Fox, Napolitano was the presiding judge on the first season of the syndicated court show Power of Attorney (2000–2002), where small-claims disputes were aired in a courtroom setting. What set this show apart was that the plaintiffs and defendants were represented pro bono by well-known attorneys. He left the show after its inaugural season.
From 2006 to 2010, he co-hosted a talk radio show on Fox News Radio alongside Brian Kilmeade, aptly named Brian and the Judge.
