Stuart Varney is a British-American talk show host and a well-known conservative political commentator, currently making waves at Fox News and the Fox Business Network. He kicked off his journey in journalism back in the UK before making his way to Fox News in January 2004, where he started as a business contributor on shows like Your World with Neil Cavuto.
Varney’s broadcasting adventure took him all the way to Hong Kong, where he worked for Radio Hong Kong, covering a variety of events. During that time, he even dabbled in voice acting for a dubbing company set up by fellow broadcaster Matthew Oram. Eventually, he made the leap to the United States, launching his television journalism career at KEMO-TV (now known as KOFY-TV) in San Francisco.
In 1980, he joined CNN right at its launch, working out of the Manhattan bureau. While there, he hosted several business-centric programs, including Business Day, Business Asia, and Moneyline with Willow Bay.
