Max Foster is an American journalist who presently works as an anchor and correspondent for CNN in London, where he hosts the CNN Newsroom at 1 p.m. GMT. Since May 2017, Max has presented ‘CNN Talk with Foster,’ which is broadcast on CNN International and Facebook. He is a US affairs pundit for LBC, a CNN affiliate anchor trainer, and a regular moderator and host of public events for organizations such as the United Nations World Tourism Organization.

In 2005, Max joined CNN International as a Business Anchor and Correspondent located in London. With Monita Rajpal, he was named permanent co-anchor of CNN Today, where he oversaw special coverage of key events such as the commencement of the 2006 Lebanon War and the 2007 London vehicle bombings. Foster was given the added title of Royal Correspondent in 2011 after reporting on Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton.

Foster earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cardiff University before going on to Highbury College in Portsmouth to pursue a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism. Before joining CNN, he worked for the BBC for ten years, most recently as a business reporter for the BBC World Service and BBC Breakfast.
