Mark Levin is an American conservative political commentator, radio host, attorney, author, and media personality. He is widely recognized as the host of The Mark Levin Show and the Fox News weekend program Life, Liberty & Levin. Over the course of his career, Levin has established himself as one of the most influential voices in conservative media through his broadcasting, writing, and political commentary.
Before becoming a prominent media figure, Levin served in the administration of Ronald Reagan, where he held several positions and eventually became chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese. He later served as president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, a role that further cemented his reputation within conservative legal and political circles.

During the 2016 Republican presidential primaries, Levin endorsed Ted Cruz and initially opposed the candidacy of Donald Trump, identifying with the “Never Trump” movement. However, after Trump secured the Republican nomination, Levin ultimately endorsed him and later became a strong supporter of many of his administration’s policies. In April 2025, President Trump appointed Levin to serve on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, further expanding his role in public affairs and national policy discussions.
