Gurvir Dhindsa is an Indian-born American journalist who serves as a weekday morning anchor for Atlanta News First, where she reports and anchors from 4:30 to 10 a.m. on WANF and PeachtreeTV. She joined the Atlanta News First team in October 2017. Prior to that, Gurvir built her career as a morning anchor in both Atlanta and Washington, D.C.

Gurvir kicked off her media journey back in 1997 as a news anchor for Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta. She spent a few years in New York before making the move to Washington, D.C. in 2000, where she hopped around various stations until 2011.
In January 2000, she joined WUSA-TV, Channel 9, but faced a tough moment when she was laid off on the same day they lost their beloved Australian shepherd, Cutter. In 2011, Dhindsa made her way back to Good Day Atlanta, stepping in for Suchita Vadlamani, who had left to focus on her family.
