Doug worked at ABC-26 in New Orleans for 11 years until joining WWL-Northshore TV’s Bureau in October 2006.

He presents the Queen of Queens Beauty Pageant and the Louisiana Special Olympics’ Over the Edge every year for the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals. He votes on the Sports Committee of the Sugar Bowl.

Mouton is a New Orleans native who graduated from Brother Martin High School and attended the University of New Orleans. He began his broadcast career as an intern for legendary sportscaster Buddy Diliberto.
