Rahel Solomon is an Ethiopian-American television personality who, until recently, was the host of CNN’s Early Start program in 2025. She also worked as a business reporter for the network. In a surprising move, she announced her departure live on air in March 2026.
Before taking on the morning show, Solomon served as a business correspondent for CNN starting in 2022. As of now, she hasn’t revealed what her next adventure will be after leaving the network.
In addition to her work at CNN, she has also been a general assignment correspondent for CNBC Business News. Rahel kicked off her career as a production assistant at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia and spent a year as a Multiplatform Reporter at Medill News Service in Washington, DC.
