Her responsibilities included reporting, anchoring, and producing a public affairs show. Roslyn went to Columbus, GA in 1996 to work as the CBS station WRBL-TV 3’s Opelika Bureau Chief Reporter. For their coverage of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, she and her news crew got an Associated Press Award for Best Coverage. Roslyn chose to switch gears after nine years of reporting and anchoring and pursue a career in real estate. The break from television was only temporary.
Three years later, she returned to her original love as a freelance reporter at her previous Columbus station, WTVM News Leader 9, and quickly got a full-time reporting job. She was promoted to weekend anchor after two years. Roslyn was honored by the Georgia Marshal Network in 2014 with an Outstanding Media Award for fair and impartial reporting.
